Casey Knake has been advising individuals, families and small businesses for over 30 years. Casey and his team work closely with his clients to understand their unique goals, needs and concerns. Together they analyze and recommend wealth management strategies designed to meet their clients' needs regarding investing, retirement income and charitable giving.
Casey works in the life insurance, investment and estate planning fields along with the corporate retirement strategies market. Over the years, he has formed strategic alliances with many of the CPA and law firms in Omaha and Northeast Nebraska.
Casey has earned a few of the financial industry's most respected professional designations, including Certified Financial Planner™, Chartered Life Underwriter®, Chartered Financial Consultant® and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®. He is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table; a group representing financial professionals.
He is licensed in over 40 states and holds Series 7, 6, 65, 63 and is a Series 24 Registered Principal.
Casey joined Heritage Financial Services in 1990. He is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Cetera Advisor Networks LLC. Casey is a volunteer with United Way, the YMCA and has been a Red Cross blood donor for many years.
Effective January 1st, 2020, Casey and his partner Ben Conover purchased the firm - becoming managing partners - and have been working on a number of initiatives to improve the overall client experience within the firm.
Casey and his wife, Wanda, have three children and four grandchildren. They split their time between Omaha and Norfolk.

Ben joined Heritage Financial Services in 2008 and is now a partner in Heritage Financial Services. Ben is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Finance and is licensed to sell life, health and disability insurance. He also holds his Series 7 and 66 registrations and is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor representative with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC.
Ben prides himself in using creativity and out of the box thinking when designing custom financial strategies for his clients.
Ben is active in the aviation industry and is a private pilot which he accomplished to be more accessible to his clients in several markets. Though he may be a few hundred miles away, he is able to be there very quickly. He also is a licensed pyrotechnician.
Ben and his wife Sarah have 3 amazing kids, Lucy, Brennen and Dillon (Dilly Dilly). They enjoy traveling and spending time with family.

Mitchell Schultze
Mitchell joined Heritage Financial Services in January 2013. He attended Morningside College in Sioux City, where he was a part of the Mustang’s basketball team for four years and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance. Mitchell is licensed to sell life, health, and disability insurance, and is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor representative with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC. His practice specializes in helping individuals and families protect and manage their wealth so they can live comfortably and achieve their life dreams. Mitchell also specializes in helping small businesses with their employee benefits packages and retirement plans.
His wife, Amanda, and daughters, Dawson, Remi & Gianna, currently reside in Norfolk. He spends his free time playing golf, going on runs with his dog, and rooting on his wife as she coaches the Northeast Community College Volleyball program. Mitchell serves as the Vice President of the Board for NeighborWorks Northeast Nebraska, a great program that focuses on helping low to moderate income individuals and families find housing. He also helped start and continues to run Nebraska D-League basketball programs, which provides youth in Northeast Nebraska the opportunity to play summer basketball.

Colby joined Heritage Financial Services in 2014. Colby graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Finance with an emphasis on risk management. Colby specializes in creative investment strategies and mitigating risk exposures to formulate detailed financial strategies for individuals and business owners. Tim Iverson was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and joined Heritage Financial Services in January 2010. Tim focuses on helping Individuals, Families, and Small Businesses achieve their long term financial goals and is licensed to sell Life, Health, Disability, Long Term Care and Annuities to help protect his clients. Tim has completed the Life in Leadership Institute program through NAIFA Omaha, served and the Board of Directors, and continues to be active member as an advocate for his clients. He loves to travel, coach youth sports, golf, and spend time with his 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
Aaron Ostler ChFC®
Aaron has nearly 15 years of experience in designing financial strategies to help his clients accumulate wealth so they can retire comfortably and to help protect them financially against unexpected life events. Many of his clients are small business owners, young professionals, and health care professionals such as physicians and dentists. Several of these clients reside in Nebraska; however, he is also actively servicing client needs in many states.
Aaron loves being a dad! He and his wife, Kristyn, and have 6 kids and in his free time loves playing with the kids, going on dates with Kristyn, spending time as a family, and watching Nebraska football. He also enjoys fishing. Aaron is currently serving on the board of Midwest Heart Connection, a non-profit supporting kids with congenital heart disease and their families. He is also active in his association, National Association for Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and serves on the national subcommittee overseeing curriculum for a leadership course, Leadership In Life Institute (LILI).

Mark Brungardt
Mark A Brungardt has been a Financial Advisor with Heritage Financial Services since February 2008. His practice specializes in designing Financial Strategies for individual and business, which include retirement planning, investment advisory, risk management and insurance strategies. Prior to joining Heritage Financial Services, Mark played on the 2002-2004 Nebraska Husker football team and graduated with a degree in Business Finance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Mark was raised in Norfolk, NE where he spends some time partnering with his father Tim, who has been with HFS in Norfolk for over 25 years. He enjoys staying active in the community through coaching high school football at Omaha Northwest along with various camps. He serves on the Board of Directors for the D.R.E.A.M. organization, whose mission expands opportunities for at-risk you by providing positive role models, experiences and assistance. Patrick joined Heritage Financial Services in January 2018. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Economics and International Business. Patrick holds his life and health insurance licenses and Series 7 and 66 registrations and is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor representative with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC.
Patrick brings 9 years of banking and financial services experience and 5 years’ experience developing corporate financial solutions. This experience coupled with his passion to help others persuaded Patrick to join Heritage Financial Services.
In his free time, Patrick enjoys traveling with his wife, Jessica, and their Labrador retriever named Maddox. Patrick also enjoys running, cycling, bowling, rooting on the St. Louis Cardinals and Nebraska Cornhusker Football and Volleyball teams.
Riley Knake CRPC®
Riley joined HFS in 2023, bringing with him a strong drive to help individuals, families and small businesses create personalized financial strategies. He believes that the financial planning process starts with a clear understanding of each client’s unique goals, needs and concerns. Together, he and his clients develop a blueprint for a financial plan that guides recommendations regarding investing, retirement income and legacy planning.
Riley enjoys educating investors and helping them avoid the stress that comes with financial management. He shows a genuine interest in understanding his clients’ perspectives and learning about their situation.
Riley holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has earned the professional designation Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™. Riley, his wife Abby, their sons, Callum and Beckett, and dog, Kida, reside in Norfolk. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family. Riley has volunteered with several organizations including being a mentor with TeamMates Mentoring over the years. Riley served as the chairman for both University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Omaha’s chapters of Ducks Unlimited.
